The 2nd series of Gladiators hailed the introduction of five new Gladiators: Trojan, Zodiac, Nightshade, Hunter and Falcon.
ZODIAC'S POWERBALL COLLISION
Zodiac suffered an injury to her cheekbone during Powerball when she collided with Contender Lisa Thompson. Sadly, Lisa later had to quit the show.
HELEN WILLIAMS
Contender Helen Williams fell awkwardly against Lightning in Hang Tough and was stretchered off, however she returned for Suspension Bridge and defeated Scorpio!
ATLASPHERES RECORD
Contender Roland Hill scored 15 points against Hunter in Atlaspheres. This remained the record for the Atlaspheres event.
NIGHTSHADE VS PAULINE
Nightshade faced Contender Pauline Oliver on two dramatic Suspension Bridge outings. Nightshade was victorious even though Pauline had promised revenge for her first defeat!
COBRA'S DOUBLE HANG TOUGH DEFEAT
Contenders Phil Norman and Gary Towers both successfully made it across to Cobra's platform on Hang Tough, the only time this ever happened in domestic competition.
